1. About us

This website is run by Finlay Spenceley, trading as The Resin Bureau, 19 Sandon Street, Nottingham NG7 7AN, United Kingdom. Email: [email protected]. These terms apply to every order placed on resinbureau.org. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

2. Our products

Our resins are natural botanical products, so colour, tear size and scent vary slightly from batch to batch and from the photos. They're sold for aromatic, ceremonial and external use only. They are not food or medicine and should not be eaten. Keep them away from children and pets, and never leave burning resin unattended.

3. Orders and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK shipping. Payment is taken securely by Stripe when you place your order; we never see your card details. Your order is accepted, and a contract formed, when we email your order confirmation. If we can't fulfil an order (for example, an item has sold out or a price was clearly wrong), we'll tell you and refund you in full.

4. Shipping and delivery

• We currently ship within the United Kingdom only, by Royal Mail Tracked.
• Orders are usually dispatched within 1 to 3 working days. We'll email you a tracking number when your parcel leaves us, and you can check your order status at any time from the link in your confirmation email.
• If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged, email [email protected] within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we'll send a replacement or refund.

5. Cancellations and returns

• Changing your mind: under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, no reason needed. We go further and accept unopened, sealed items within 30 days. Email [email protected] to let us know, then return the item within 14 days of telling us. Return postage is paid by you, and we'll refund the price and the original delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the item back.
• Opened items: because resin is a natural product used for burning, items whose seal has been broken can't be returned for change of mind, for health and hygiene reasons. This doesn't affect faulty or incorrect items.
• Faulty or incorrect items: if something arrives damaged, underweight or isn't what you ordered, email [email protected] with a photo and we'll replace it or refund you in full, including postage.

6. Your data

We only use your details to process and deliver your order and to reply to you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

7. Website content

All text, photography and design on this site belongs to The Resin Bureau unless credited otherwise. Please don't reuse it commercially without asking. Our journal is for general interest only and isn't medical advice.

8. Customer reviews

Reviews on this site can only be written by customers with a dispatched order. The review form lives on the order page itself, so every review is tied to a genuine purchase. We publish every review we receive, positive or negative, and we don't remove reviews just because they're unflattering. We don't pay for reviews or offer incentives in exchange for them. If a review is unlawful, abusive, or contains someone else's private information, we may remove it, and we'd tell the reviewer why.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If something goes wrong, please email us first and we'll do our best to put it right. You can also bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
